This way, you can put them behind you when the vacation starts, and concentrate on getting the most out of your trip. Although you don't want to spend money unnecessarily, don't fall into the common trap of trying to skimp on space. If you are traveling in a group, make sure you will have plenty of room. If you are unsure, always err on the side of having too much room, rather than too little.
